Although the number of executions that take place in China is kept secret, a report from Amnesty Internationallast year stated that its information “strongly indicates that China carries out more executions than the rest of the world put together.”
WSJ referenced a report from Dui Hua estimating 3,000 executions in 2012, which is far lower than 13,500 estimated in 2002.
