MAKE the most of today's sunshine and clear skies as forecasters are predicting afternoon showers and possible thunderstorms in the state's south-east from tomorrow.

Bureau of Meteorology senior forecaster Michelle Berry said isolated showers are expected around coastal areas from Tuesday with the chance of thunderstorms developing north of Brisbane on Wednesday and Thursday."There's a 20 to 30 per cent for thunder in Brisbane as well," she said.
