Report: Drunken Violence has moved from Surfers Paradise to Broadbeach..

DRUNKEN violence has been pushed out of Surfers Paradise and into Broadbeach, sparking calls for serial offenders to face a ban from all Gold Coast nightclubs.

A recent State Government report showed that since the introduction of the Drink Safe Precinct in Surfers Paradise, the number of assaults had dropped in the Glitter Strip but spiked in Broadbeach.Broadbeach Alliance boss Jan McCormick said there had been an increase in violence as revellers switched from Surfers to Broadbeach, traditionally seen as a more family-friendly area. http://www.goldcoast.com.au/article/2013/08/15/456469_gold-coast-news.html
