ALMOST two out of every three robberies committed on the Gold Coast since the start of the year remain unsolved

Shocking new figures reveal.The Queensland Police Service online statistics website, launched yesterday afternoon, showed crooks were getting away red-handed, as just 38 of the 102 robberies on the Gold Coast have been solved so far this year.

Just over half of the 784 assaults since January had been resolved, while fraud was another tricky area with about 316 out of 874 cases wrapped up.Only about half of the 280 robberies committed in 2012 have been solved.
