HEAVY rain has pelted Melbourne causing minor flooding across the state.
Motorists have been told to be careful on the roads after flooding
was reported on St Kilda Rd near the Arts Centre, Nepean Hwy in Mentone,
Ascot Vale Rd in Moonee Ponds and Forest Rd in Boronia.
The SES has taken 12 calls for help since midnight.
