Device detects drugs, sparks privacy fears, powerful enough to detect woman painting her nails or bug spray used

A GOLD Coast man has invented a device that alerts rental property owners when their apartments have been hijacked by criminals to cook drugs.The device, known as Owner's Eye, is already being used in 11 Gold Coast holiday homes -- with many more on the way.The Owner's Eye uses sophisticated sensors to monitor levels of noise and gas in rental properties without notifying renters.
