Single temperatures already? QUEENSLAND is getting an early taste of winter with the southeast set to hit single figure temperatures this weekend.

Predictions show the mornings will get cooler from today, with minimums of 9C predicted for Sunday and into next week.The weather bureau said the overcast and rainy days earlier in the week had definitely passed.Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast can expect breezy, cold mornings that will reach top temperatures as the sun rises.An average of 22C to 24C is expected today as well as the next four days for most of the southeast.
