QUEENSLAND will be hit hard by Gillard Government's decision to slash promised payments, $600 for each family

Six of the 20 electorates affected most by Prime Minister Julia Gillard's broken promise to boost Family Tax Benefit part A are in the state.Ms Gillard today will visit the Logan-based seat of Rankin, which has the highest proportion of affected families in Queensland - 18,239 Rankin households will miss out on the promised extra payments.The electorate is held by Labor's Craig Emerson and has the nation's fifth largest proportion of families eligible for the tax benefit.
