NSW and Queensland police relations tense after officer detained following Elliott Coulson death

An officer and a detective were at the Marriot hotel on the Gold Coast with Queensland police last Wednesday to arrest Elliott Couslon in relation to the Mosman finance executive's murder.

Senior NSW policeman said one of the officers was treated more like a suspect than an investigating officer following the incident on the 26th floor of the hotel."He was effectively treated like a suspect. It was pretty bad and has soured relations between the two states," News Ltd was told."(He) had his phone taken off him and put in a room for hours. It was pretty bad.
