Cold snap on the way for Gold Coast, first frost of the season expected for Hinterland areas

GOLD Coasters will shiver through the rest of the week with a strong cold front expected to lower overnight temperatures and bring the first frost of the season to Hinterland areas.The cold snap will begin tonight and continue into the weekend, bringing lows of 10C for the Coast and 6C for the Gold Coast Hinterland.Weather experts said the sun was back to stay, but daytime temperatures would only reach about 22C for the next five days.
