Chilly Gold Coast nights as temperature plummets, coldest May morning in 9 years!

GOLD Coasters shivered through the coldest May morning in nine years yesterday with the chilly temperatures set to continue despite the bright blue skies and sunny weather. The overnight minimum dropped to a chilly 3.4C at Coolangatta yesterday morning -- nearly 11 degrees below the 14.1C May average. It was also the coldest morning since September last year.
