AS ONE cyclone crosses the Cape, the weather bureau is on alert for an ex-cyclone that might re-form to threaten the southeast
Weather bureau forecaster Gordon Banks said that by about Thursday Edna should be east of about Rockhampton.
``We're
not sure where it will go from there,'' he said. ``It should go south
or southeast, but some models do bring it closer to the Queensland
coast.
``It is unlikely that it will come all the way back but it
should produce some strong winds and showers for the southeast by the
end of the week.''
